Not crass at all. Asking for work to come your way is definitely a developer's topic!!!! Don't start throwing a party, but lately I have been inundated with contract work. I also keep an eye on the locals, and an ear to the ground. I don't have anything right now, but I have had to turn stuff down in the last few weeks. Nothing MAJOR, but some of it steady work for a few months. Most of the stuff I have to turn down is local though, but even if it isn't, I don't know who to contact since most jobs want someone local if they haven't worked with them before. So where are you at, and can you send me your resume. (It doesn't need to be full blown one. Just let me know what you know.....).
