Yikes...installing service packs to 97 AFTER 2k is already there?

Just out of curiousity, what level is 97 at?  I am pretty sure you need to
be at 1 or 1b (I have 1b somewhere), before 2b let's you install it.

Folks,

I'm trying to apply SP2b to Office97 and it won't go.  It says "multiple
versions of office apparently installed".  True.  "Call tech support".  Fat
chance.

Does anyone know if it is possible to apply this service pack to my machine
where I also have Office2K installed?
