You'll be sorely missed Charles, but if you can't be prevailed upon to
stick around just for fun then enjoy your retirement.

Charles,

Do you really have to sign off from the list as well? Members like
you are an asset.

You are merely retiring from a job !

Regards,

Subject: [AccessD] OT: My Retirement

To the good folks of AccessD and Access-L:

I am retiring from full-time employment at the end of this month. Today
is my last scheduled day of work. I will be signing off from these
lists in a few hours.

I want to say that both of these lists have been very educational for
me. Even though I was an experienced Access developer when I joined
both lists several years ago, I have learned a lot from these lists.
Nobody can know everything about all aspects of Access development, so
even experienced developers like me learn of things that I have never
had the opportunity to try.

I also want to say to all the lurkers on these lists, jump in and try to
answer some of the questions. One of the best ways of learning about
something is trying to explain it to somebody else. One of the nice
things about trying to answer questions on these lists is that nobody
will flame you if you are not totally correct in your response. You may
get some less than polite responses (I have been guilty of this more
than once), but nobody will call you stupid or worse. So volunteer an
answer when you think you may be able to help somebody that needs some
help.
