Subject: [AccessD] OT: Win2K - setting timeout

Does anyone know how to set the timeout period when Windows2K tries to find
a resource and can't? I have a mapped drive on a client's network using a
VPN. If the VPN isn't running the mapped drive doesn't exist. Now,
whenever I try to use the file find dialog, and pull down the combo at the
top to navigate to something, Windows apparently goes out to assemble a list
of drives to throw in the combo. It has to time out for the mapped drive
that is missing. I want to set that timeout to something like 2 seconds
instead of the 5 (or 10!) that it currently set to.
