[AccessD] Partition Function A97

Hi Jim,

I did this a couple of years ago, so bear with me...
In a 97 db I have the following and it works fast and clean:

SELECT DISTINCTROW Customers.Freight, Partition([freight],0,500,50) AS
Range,
Count([Range]) AS Count
FROM Customers
GROUP BY Customers.Freight, Partition([freight],0,500,50);

I believe you must get the Freight column first in order to do any
calculation on it.

Subject: [AccessD] Partition Function A97

> Shouldn't the following SQL work in A97? I can get the Partition function
working in a loop in a test module but not when I try to run it against a
table.
> I'm running this against the Northwind Orders table to test and get "This
expression is typed incorrectly or is too complex..." error anytime I try to
use Partition in a query. Works fine in A2K though.
