Yes they can.

Here is what I have installed at home on XPP

IE 6 SP1
Netscape 4.7
Netscape 6.2
Mozilla 1.2.1
K-Melon 0.7
Opera 6.0.5

All peacefully co-existing.

You can get Mozilla from http://www.mozilla.org
Opera http://www.opera.com You can use it with ads at the top for free, or pay and have no ads.
Netscape http://www.netscape.com
K-Melon (a browser that uses the same rendering engine as NS and Mozilla) from http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/

Also on Mozilla's home page, at the bottom there are links to other Mozilla based browsers.

All of these are free.

At one point in time, I had MS's WebTV viewer installed. I needed it because A site I was working on had quite a few people using WebTV going to it.

Choices, choices. Too many choices :-))

Does anyone know if Netscape and IE will now co-exist. In the olden days
you could trash a computer by trying to install both at the same time.
Also, could someone point me to some other browsers I can download (for free
- no money to do this).
