Web design and web building has much the same press as Access DBs. thats why
so many are crap. I can design a web site but I can build one.

Accessibility is a major issue now with web sites as is cross browser support.
You dont want to lose a customer because he/she is using Netscape and cant
navigate your site.

I hate to say this am and I am speaking out of school here but many people
will step back a little when they see Front Page 11.

There are also legal requirements for abusiness site ont he web the Section
508 guidlelines etc in the states and disibility legislation in the UK and
Europe.

I have several browsers on my machines for this purpose. But DW has tools
built in which can tell you if your site is to specific for a particular
browser.

We test for Netscape and IE. Many developers just write for IE as it is the
most often used browser and simply stuff the rest.

There are also many areas on the web which will aloww you to design graphic
buttons in the browser and download them to your pc for use.

I will zip up my Dreamweaver training materials I use in work and email to you
tomorrow JC.
