whole heartedly agree!, I use Outlook at work but do so against my will, I
must use it as it is the companies main Client. I already have Outlook
Expressed mapped to an Imapi folder for the exchange server. In general I
don't use Outlook for much more than accepting meetings and such...

: Well.... You could just ditch Outlook altogether ;-)
: I've used Outlook Express at home for years. Use Outlook at work and hate
: it immensely.
:
: I guess the Magic 8 Ball knows what it's talking about when it says
"Outlook
: not good".

: I have SR-1 for Office/Outlook and I can send attachments fine, I bet it's
: the newer draconian measures in SP3 that are blocking your
: attachments...short of a system reinstall I don't know how you would
: uninstall SP3.

: : You are using 2 pieces of software I hate the most, In Order, Outlook
and
: : NAV. ;o). When your subscription to .dat updates runs out you could try
: : another A/V software and see if that makes your problems go away... plus
: : what SP do you have installed on Outlook?

: :
: :
: : : I am my email admin. And it isn't getting out of my inbox in Outlook.
: : : I can see emails in the sent items folder that have attachments. I
: : : discovered this issue because I have Norton AV, and when an attachment
: : : goes out, a little yellow NAV box opens with a progress bar for the
: : : scan. I KNEW that I had seen that progress bar take 5 seconds or more
: : : for large (2mb) files. But I was replying to a client, trying to
attach
: : : a db and didn't see that progress bar.
