Susan

Open Word, Tools, Options, Spelling & Grammar, Edit (select custom
dictionary to edit first).

Or, simpler, open the CUSTOM.DIC (or any other custom dictionary) in
Notepad.

It's just a plain text file.

Subject: [AccessD] OT main dictionary files

Does anyone know how to open an Office main or custom dictionary file and
remove a word? I vaguely recall that you could do this with Word, but I've
tried and can't do it now.
