[AccessD] .NET

Martin,

We are still an A97 shop but have been considering O2K2 upgrade sometime this year (or maybe waiting for 2K3 based on some comments on Mike Gunderloy's most recent Access newsletter). Your comment concerning ADPs concerns me a bit as A2K2s better SQL connectivity (via ADP) has been a prime consideration for us. I know you are probably limited in what you can say but I guess I have to ask, how concerned should I be?

Feel free to contact me offline if necessary.

Thanks,

Jim DeMarco

Stuff it

Office 11 contains a lot of XML related stuff. Access has little of Interest
but some improvements to XML exports and a few other minor things.

Access 12 may see major changes towardds .NET They are already working on it.

Major disappointment awaits the ADP people with the new version of SQL Server.

Martin
