[AccessD] Operation must use an updateable query

It seems to me that the query pulling the ID of the records to be updated
could be inserted as a sequel statement into an IN clause?

...sounds like you are using a query based on tables with a m2m relationship
...which would make the query non-updateable ...this usually requires either
rewriting the query or writing code to do the updates you want ...lots of
sample code in the Help and KB re this ...HTH :)
