Yep, click the little middle button in the upper right corner if the form is
full screen in design view. It will go to an intermediate size. That is
the size (and position) it will open to as a popup.

  John:

Help (97 help, of course) told me to position it in design view, but I
can't see how one does that. You can't drag the form around the screen in
design view. ????

    Rocky,

The position when it opens is determined by the position when it closes
in design view, assuming you don't specifically position it when you open
it. Open it in design view, size it and position it where you want it, then
save it and close it.

There are also positioning commands if this doesn't do what you need.

      Dear List:

How does one position a pop up form on opening? I tried Auto-Center
but it's too high. I need to tell it just where to go.
