[AccessD] Treeview Speed problems

Hi group,

i've got a problem with my treeview. The problem is
that it is too slow to work with.
It's an A2K application with 2 databases (BE + FE).
I've looked at the code and it looks very good. For
instance:
- Only the 1st level of the tree is loaded at startup;
- when a node is clicked only it's childs are loaded;
- after a child is clicked the dataform is loaded
(dataform is on the same form as the treeview is);

I've installed the application locally and it's not
slow at all. So the problem is, i guess, that the
BE is on a network drive and the FE is installed
localy. It's especially slow on the lowest level,
meaning that the tree is completely collapsed.

The function used to fill that form is the same as
with the other child nodes...

I've read the article on databaseadvisor.com and the
tips and tricks mentioned there are 'all' used.
What else can I say?
The app is used rarely;
4 users = max;
2 users logged on at the same time is almost
impossible;
The server with the BE is in a building 'just around
the corner' (not in a diff country or so);

Is there something else that I can check?

Thnx

Sander
