[AccessD] Jet OLEDB provider - deprecated?

So, it is probably working because all of these machines are running Windows
2000, which by default would have a Jet 4.0 provider installed.

  Actually if you look back at Brett's original post, he has a link to the
article I was thinking of.  However I was still off<g>.  MDAC 2.5 was the
last release that contained the JET components.  2.6 did not have JET.

Nope. Jet 4.0 is included in MDAC 2.6.
Don't know about the "JRO components" though.
