AW: [AccessD] database modelling <SDW>

Hi,

you could try FMS Total Access Analyzer. The only drawback is that the
generated DFD's are MS Access Reports (so it would not be too easy to use
them in other applications).

It has become an invaluable part of my work, especially when it comes to
documenting inherited database applications.

I think FMS offers demo's that work for 30 days, so you can try it out.

HTH,

Michael

Nancy,

sorry, I couldn't find it myself.

The product was created back in the late 70's or early
80's, if I remember correcltly, by Cap gemini. I read
in a maganzine (computable.nl) that BWISE, a dutch
company, had bought SDW from Cap. I checked there site
(bwise.com) and SDW is mentioned on it....it also got
1 complete picture of it and that's it.

Don't think this will help you much.

Regards,

Sander Derix

PS: If i run into it somewhere I'll post it here.
