Pedro,

Both Word and Access use the same VBA, so both probably use the same
Format() function to format dates.

Subject: [AccessD] Date format

Hello Group,

i use mailmerge (Helen Feddema Code2) within access to create
wordletters. in access the format for dates is: dd-mm-yyyy. When the
data is placed into the wordletter by the following function
{DOCPROPERTY "GebDat" \*MERGEFORMAT} the dateformat changes to mm/dd/yy.

Is there a way to get the same format as in access

TIA

Pedro Janssen
