Kath - That is what I would like to do. Distance isn't a problem (My clients are in the States and I am in NZ - it has worked for the last 5 years). Since I don't know of anyone specifically who could do the job locally I figured that I might as well use someone from the list (keep it in the family).

David - why not try to find someone locally who can help you with the web side / asp etc. and keep the management of the project yourself. You keep control - cost in some learning time for yourself but find someone who you are subcontracting the web stuff to. You obviously know their business and their database and that knowledge is very valuable.

I know someone here in Melbourne who can help you but I think you would be better off with someone local?

My client wants to pursue this further. We are looking at solutions, and

the implementation of them. This would include the maintenance of the

server, database, and website. Not sure if this discussion is best kept in

the list or private (any moderators like to comment?).

If anyone is interested please email me.
