Not to spoil the fun -- nor to mock cats and cat owners or even people 
who *hate* cats -- but I know two people with diabetic cats. I don't 
know how prevalent diabetes is, but incontinence is one of the symptoms. 
  These cats do very well with insulin injections.  But, the testing can 
take a while (to establish the correct dosage) and, of course, be expensive.
