  company wants $35 / month for unlimited internet so I could just get it
  through them, but I thought I'd give Vonage a try.  Vonage has $15, $25 and
  $35 packages which allows me to try it for cheap and see if it really works
  before turning off the land line.

  plus the vonage price? :S, I can't get rid of verizon as they are my
  telco. the only thing that would make sense is to switch to cable then
  it's just the price of the cable bill plus vonage.
