[AccessD] Quick Syntax Question

Andrew,

I tried using count(*) but that did not work either. I am about to give up 
and go home I think ... except I know I will spend all weekend trying to 
figure it out 



In this case use count(*) instead of specify field name.

yes it is an integer, I tried declaring as a long as well but still got 
the error.

Is AuthorityID in tblDAuthorityConditionSpecific an integer field?

WHERE [tblDAuthorityConditionSpecific].[AuthorityID] = " & RenewID & ";

Is saying that it must be if renewed is an integer.

Another possibility is that the integer variables should be declared as
LONG instead.
