Chester:

Instead of datasheet view use continuous form. Then you can set the Enabled
and Locked properties of each field individually.

Subject: [AccessD] Restrict data entry from form into table

I have a form for data entry into a table. The first field, date, is
automatically filled in from a selection on another form. The second
field is a drop down list box. The third field is to enter a numeric
value. For any given date I need to let the user only select a
particular item from the drop down list in the second field once. Is
this possible through indexing or some other method? I am drawing a
blank here. Thanks

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However a large
number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.
