For those (and most other kids), I would suggest a copy of Naomi Klein's "No
Logo". She makes the case rather vividly that various corporations are using
kids (and some adults) as free billboards. I saw a shirt recently that
expresses the same point in a more sardonic way. The inscription on the
t-shirt read "This space for rent".

Thanks John. Yeah, funny isn't. Just like some children want clothes bought 
from a shop rather than what mum makes for them. No matter how good she is.
