[AccessD] OT - Internet Access

How about DSL through your phone company?  There used to be satellite in 
some metro areas but I don't know if you can still get it.

Is there any other way to get internet access besides dial up, cable
modem or phone internet service?  I am trying to work using dial-up and
it is impossible as one can imagine.   The person holding the account
will not give me the password to set up the cable connection, nor can I
add the phone feature?  Great roomates, huh?  Any ideas?
