[AccessD] OT - Internet Access

Satellite is slow. It uses a proxy server for all web-based requests. It hasn't lived up to its hype. You can't even connect a router directly to the satellite modem like you could on a DSL or cable modem.

..if you've got a phone line you can get a half decent link through a Direct
satellite link ...not as fast or reliable as DSL or cable but a damn sight
better than dial-up.
