I doubt that they (horror stories about FF) are even close in number to the
horror stories we have about IE!

The only hassle I've had with FireFox (tempting fate, I know) is with the
FlashBlock extension. On some sites that insist of showing us whiz-bang
flash animations, FF will crash in flashblock is enabled. I suspect that the
advertisers may have planed little bombs in the flash animations to force us
to look at them. Thus far the only sites I've come across that do this (and
then only intermittently) are www.refdesk.com and the drudge report. Losing
Drudge was no hardship, but I like Refdest - so I just enable flash for the
problem sites and get on with life. The FTP entn. Works very well for me.

Nope, that's apparently not it. I added my site, no help. I am talking
about the FTP username/password dialog.

Tools: Options: Web Features
The Block Popup Windows check box may be blocking it.

You should be able to add your site to the exceptions list.

When I try and use FireFox to logon to my ftp site I get "Sorry, no
anonymous logon allowed". It does not pop up the box for asking for the
user name / password. Any idea why not and how to make it do so?
