Actually they are right.  The whole thing comes down to perspective.  Of
course the math is a heck of a lot easier if you simply consider the sun the
center around which the solar system revolves.  In this case as many others,
why not go with the simplest answer that gives the most correct predictions?
Why complicate the issue by insisting that a certain perspective has to be
maintained?  Groan, no doubt they will call it proof.  Of course the reverse
is just as true.  No one can prove that the sun revolves around the Earth,
but that is a minor detail.
