[AccessD] Flag Previously Deleted Recs

That is exactly how I ended up doing it.
I ran a query to return all Acct #'s that match the Max [FileDate], then
ran an Unmatched Query against these Acct #'s to determine the records
that were not included in the most recent file. These records were then
flagged as deleted.

Thanks for your help.

Gotcha... so you need to do a GroupBy and do the comparison against the
Max
value of FileDate...

The problem with this is I don't want to flag prior instances of the
same Acct# as deleted.
For example, if Acct# 12345 was open in the 10/6/2005 file, and also in
the 10/13/2005 file, your suggestion would update the 10/6 record to
Deleted.

After you update the FileDate for those that match, you need change
(update)
the DeleteFlag in all records of the AccountTable where the FileDate is
less
than Today's Date.
