Would you be interested in a solution that:

(1) Doesn't build a SQL statement or Where clause
(2) Doesn't build a filter string
(3) Because of (2), can be setup to allow the user to do their form
filtering/sorting on top of your custom search criteria
(4) Can be a single form
(5) Can use as little as 1 line of code
