Hi Thomas,

Usually you can just right click on the file and select properties, down at
the bottom of the form you may see a check box marked unblock, unclick it an
all should be OK.

Copying the file from an ntfs format to a fat32 format and back sometimes
works also.

Subject: [AccessD] Trusted Site question

I'm sure you're all familiar with this wunnerful message:

"Microsoft Access cannot open this file.

This file is located outside your intranet or on an untrusted site.
Microsoft Access will not open the file due to potential, security
problems.

To open the file, copy it to your machine or an accessible network
location."

In my particular case, the file is on a trusted site, which is correctly
configured as such in Internet Explorer. Is there something else that needs
to be done within Access itself? I need for this file to be accessible to
several people at a time, using record-locking, so copying to one's hard
drive and then uploading it back to the site won't cut it.

TIA.
