[AccessD] Dates As Criteria

Here she is...This is making NO SENSE to me...at all???

SELECT tblArrests.ArrestDT, tblArrests.ArrestLocation
FROM tblArrests
WHERE (((Format([ArrestDT],"Short Date")) Between 
[Forms]![frmReports]![StartDate] And [Forms]![frmReports]![endDate]));
