Hi Arthur

Thanks for the response

Yes that is way cool

But I wanted to run the "regsvr32 SomeCool.Reg" from a batch file

It did end up working after Stuarts promptings

Many thanks

Darren

I know a very cool way to do this. Right click Send To on your start-menu and
then add an item, which is equivalent to regsrvr32.exe. Once that is done you
can then drop any .REG file on the Send To button and it will execute.

Hi All

I have a REG (registry file) that works fine when double clicked

What would be the syntax for 'starting' it from a batch file?

I have tried regsvr32 MSSSQL.REG and even tried regedit MSSSQL.REG

No joy

Any suggestions?

Thanks
