>I listened to Metro morning this morning during my 2 1/2 hour commute

I don't have enough time to listen to anything on my 30 second commute up
the stairs from my downstairs to my office.

8~))

Hmmm... Makes me scratch my head though. Is that 2.5 hours each way? At my
hourly rate that extra 5 hours buys at least a 12 pack a day (of diet Pepsi
of course), and MAYBE even my mortgage. ;-)

I do listen to the radio (country music) when I have to drive the mile down
to the bank, or the grocery store. Heck it's a good 15 minutes up to Wally
World. And yes, they do have a rush hour out there. Well... A rush 20
minutes anyway. I try and stay off the roads during that time.

Some time back I realized that I only have so many hours left, and I didn't
want to spend them breathing fumes at a dead stop with a million cars in
front of me and a million cars behind me. Been there, done that.

Well, some of the HW anyway. I can provide a room complete with data
projector. The PCs/laptops,I'd recommend brining your own. We live in the
friggin dark ages in terms of hardware/software at work.

I wouldn't say never. I listened to Metro morning this morning during my 2
1/2 hour commute and the last week or so, I've listened to As It Happens on
the way home.

Actually, I COULD get it taped. In the room that i was thinking of, the
technical classroom (TV technical not IT tech) that is under my control, we
just finished a course that we taped on VHS, but I've got a PVR that i could
hook up and make DVD copies.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved
body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "What a
great ride!"
