It was actually as easy as it was unintuitive: File-->>Import and Export-->>
Outlook (not contacts!!! Who knew?) -->>Export to a file -->> Comma
separated Values -->> (wait for it...) CONTACTS FOLDER!!!

User stupid once I saw it.

When finally installing OFF2003 recently, I was using the same package that
I think you used.
I gave careful thought to installing Business Contact Manager. I decided
that it was not a good idea. I stopped when a version of SQL Server Express
was installed and was asked if I wanted to continue to install Business
Contact Manager.
I think that this has something to do with your issue.
Looking forward to hearing where your contacts went.

BTW you can keep those clouds on the coast, they totally obscured Venus last
nite.

Subject: [AccessD] OT: Exporting Outlook Contacts

I am trying to export my Outlook Address book and have failed. Help was no
help. The web was no help.

I can export the business contacts, but not the whole contact list. There
must be some way to do this.

I click File-->Import and Export--> and I only get Outlook (which exports
mail folders) and Business Contact Manager for Outlook - which has a subset
of my contacts.

And search turns up no WAB OR PST file so I don't even know where to look
for the address book file.

 HELP!!!!

This is making me crazy.

MTIA,

Rocky
