Gustav, Thanks for pointing this out as I typically don't read my own posts. Guessing from your description below...you used about 3 fields in your original table to get this output.  We'll use the fields:field1=Set---this is where your data1,data2 stuff wentfield2=Value---this is where your 1,2,5,4,2,3,4...wentfield3=Ltr--(letter)...where your w,x,y,z Assuming this is how your data is stored...the results you want can be achieved using a single crosstab.
