Robert/Arthur:

Thanks for the insights.  Upgrading Office would seem to be the logical
solution.  However, the cost of upgrading 1000 employees from XP to 2007
would be a bit high.  The cost of Mgmt Studio for me and a few others
would be easily justifiable.  Plus I get a new toy to learn and play
with.

Steve,

Everything will work correctly. You cannot use Access to make
changes in the database any longer. You will have to use Management
Studio to do it from now on.
