[AccessD] OT Signatures?

It's been voted on in the past. The problem is that not everyone has an
email program that makes multiple sigs easy (one for personal, one for
business, etc). Since some people choose to have political statements
in the tag lines for all their email, that's really their choice. As
long as it's not adult in nature, or specifically attacking a list
member, there shouldn't really be a problem.

Personally, I am offended at the 'legal notices' in emails...it's a
waste of electrons, and the mail server I use tags it in (as a company
policy).....so I'd have to ban myself!

I think it would be correct and efficient if we banned signature lines
from
the list, to wit, anything in addition to one's name should be deemed
out of
bounds. Yes, occasionally they are cute and or witty but they consume
space
and after thousands of messages that space adds up. To keep the costs of
this non-profit organization to a minimum we should collectively agree
that
signature lines in addition to one's name ought to be forbidden.
