hmmm.thanks for the tips. But, now I've got a different issue...I can't
seem to get into "references." I've got the module window open, but
"references" is greyed out.
 
I just did a total re-install (unist. 1st) of A97, and chose everything,
but no-go.

Could just be the sequence of the references too. Move the OFFICE one
UP on the list. as explained here...

I think it's one called

Visual Basic for Applications

named VBA6.DLL or something similar.

It's probably flagged as missing and if you tell it to go look for it
it will find it and you will be golden.
