Hi Rocky

Try this

In design view make the back ground of the control say...red. Save the form
In the same session make the background of the control transparent. Save the
form. Then open the form and click in the control - what do you see??

Subject: [AccessD] Conditional Formatting

Dear List:

I'm setting conditional formatting for a bunch of text boxes on a form -
changing the background when the field has the focus. It's a very tedious
job - one field at a time. Is there a way to automate this process?
