Hi William, If there is ever going to be a case where the subform is opened as a main form in its own right then you might want to put a test in there to see if there actually is a "Parent" object. In some of my cases, I have it as a sub and a main with some me.parent code in there. Using Stuart's function to pass args could be utilised along with Rocky's parsing system. Cool eh?
