IMO there is so little difference between VB.NET and C# that you might as
well begin with C#. There is, in the real world, a difference however. C#
paople typically get paid more -- which is ridiculous since there are many
software translators available. And besides, in C# you have to type lots of
semi-colons :)

Installation order doesn't matter at all.
