[AccessD] Please Help!

Please believe me, we should be delighted to still have this kind of
list. The costs and work dealing with a web-based forum is horrendous.
Woody's Lounge just moved recently from our old, highly customized
W3Threads software to an IPBoard based forum, but it took the time and
money investment of the Windows Secrets gang to get it there. The
volunteer moderators and admins simply don't have time to do all the
necessary work. And it's an on-going task. People can't log in or they
forgot their password or they want to change their user name and have it
show up on all their posts retroactively or they don't like the skins
available or they can't understand why they can't just remove their post
from the start of a thread. They don't know how to post a link and
can't figure out things that have nothing to do with the forum and
everything to do with the problem seated at the keyboard.

Instead of email, why can't this list migrate to a web-based forum with
threads, attachments, and all of the other features as well ?
