Well, if nothing else it looks and feels cheap and poorly designed. They should take some pride in what they release and ensure it is smooth and functional.  I expect that sort of behaviour from freeware or beta releases.  I am with you Susan, it is *really* annoying and just looks and feels awful to work with.
