[AccessD] An Interesting question

LOL, true. But I rarely come up with 'elegant' solutions for problems I
find relatively pointless. ;)

I hope you understand what I mean. It's a client request, which is
money in the pocket, but some client requests just seem too silly to
take their money for! ;)

In other words, it's very difficult to make the elephant in the living
room look elegant! ;)

It would probably work. But it's about the same level of elegance (or
lack
thereof) of the overlay approach (text box overlaying the bound text or
combo box made visible or invisible depending on whether there was a
non-null value in the bound field).

Hmmm, other then the obvious 'Ummm why?' questions <grin>, what about
running a little code on the OnCurrent event to 'unbind' each control
which
is null, and placing a 'default' value into them? Then on the OnFocus
event
of the controls, rebind them?

Not sure if that would work, just an idea.....
