The DICE stats have absolutely nothing to do with the power of the language and everything to do 
with the perception of ignorant people writing up job specs.  Never wrote a line of code in their 
lives but have heard all about the "C" programming language.

People (apparently) somewhat like yourself.  Microsoft itself says that C# is no better (or worse) 
than VB.Net.  They wrote both, I would think they might know some small something about the issue.
