David,

One idea is to use ClickYes http://www.contextmagic.com/express-clickyes/ 
which I'm pretty sure would take care of the problem.

Another idea is to try using something other than Outlook as your default 
email client.

A third idea is to use an SMTP control to send the email.  I use the Chilkat 
mail component from http://www.chilkatsoft.com/Email-ActiveX.asp
