Mark, 

I understoond what you're asking for.
The most obvious answer is to use SaveAsWebPage at 3500x3500 from the
MapPoint application.

I have a method using the ActiveX control in Access that does even better.
It will soon be made available to the public.

I'm not looking to order maps. 
 
As an example, lets say I want to generate 20K maps with directions...I can
already do this with a single button.  I am looking for a way to get a
better image out of MapPoint.
 
Or as an alternative...save an image from the clipboard to a file...not
paste into word.
