2003 - and I got a solution to my problem from Gary Kjos - Tools>options>transition clear transition navigation keys, Don't know if that will give you a lead on your problem. But it's one more reason for me to wait for the next release of Office. 2007 has very little to recommend it on this list. I have similar issues with my 2007 version, i.e. ctrl+c, ctrl+v, and ctrl+s not working as supposed. This is an irregular behaviour - after a restart of Excel the keys might function as supposed. I don't have a solution, so I too would appreciate hints to solve this annoying behaviour.
