Thank you, Ken,

Please note that I plan to add a feature of supporting dynamic plug-ins in
v.0.0.3, which is currently planned to be released in the middle/end of
April this year. In the mean time you can use published source code to
develop your own plug-ins, which I can statically link to the release of
v.0.0.2 - middle/end of March this year - if you wish. While developing your
plug-ins you can use testing project Access.PowerTools.TestConsole to DUTDDA
(Develop Using Test-Driven Design & Automation) your own functionality to be
plugged-in later, or to just use it privately for your own purposes...

I didn't mean getting VBA code out of .mde by .saveastex - I did mean "just"
getting forms' and reports' designs, and macros...

I am happy with the MIT license. I will download PowerTools and give it a
spin. There are a number of functions I would like to see, and this would be
a good vehicle.

And I was unaware that time that solution was much closer - as undocumented

I just tested SaveAsText on an mde ... it doesn't work. Without researching
it, I recall that any of the VBA IDE methods of trying to get to the code on
an mde will fail, too.

Microsoft has the code in an mde pretty well locked up, but I hear it's not
impossible to reconstruct.
