Darren,

I think that Windows Server 2008 supports published applications.

Subject: [AccessD] Running an Access app on a Virtual Machine like
Citrix

Hi Team

I have been tasked with getting a Virtual Machine up and running with a
copy
of an in-house access app to run on it
Now back in the day it was possible to set up a citrix environ whereby
clients would logon to a 'place' and once the logon was complete the
Citrix
remote end would spark up an app and the user only ever (essentially)
saw
this app
So it gave the impression it was a local app being run but it was all
done
with smoke and mirrors
Does anyone know if it's possible to do anything like that with Virtual
Machines?
Basically just double click a Remote Desktop type of thing that will
spark
up the relevant VM
That will then spark up our in-house app - but have it look like it's
been
sparked up like a local app
IE no desktop of the VM showing - That sort of stuff
Make sense?

Many thanks in advance

Darren
