Changed the statement to:

    Forms!frmRoutings!sfrmRoutingSubForm.Form.RecordSource = "Select * FROM
tblFinishingRouting " _
        & "WHERE fldPanelDefID = " & Val(Me.txtPanelDefID)

Now I get "You canceled the previous operation" :(

Subject: [AccessD] Changing Subform Record Source

Dear List:

Trying to change the record source on a sub-form and I can't ever remember
the correct syntax. This

Forms!frmRoutings!sfrmRoutingSubForm.RecordSource = "Select * FROM
tblFinishingRouting " _
        & "WHERE fldPanelDefID = " & Val(Me.txtPanelDefID)

gives error object doesn't support this propertyor method.

I know I'm close but can't get it to work. Anyone see what's wring?
